About Dr. Martine
Martine was born in Pembroke, Ontario. Martine has long standing interests in dance and music while her current interests focus on health and fitness. She is an avid cyclist, sprint distance triathlon athlete and downhill skier. Throughout university, Martine taught fitness and cycling classes and developed a lifelong interest in nutrition and healthy living.
During her time at McMaster University Martine worked as a fitness instructor and a personal trainer at The Pulse Fitness Facility. Additionally, she volunteered her time to the McMaster Sports Injury Clinic where she assisted in strength and conditioning field testing for both the Varsity Football and Baseball teams.
After graduating from McMaster University with an Honors Bachelor of Kinesiology, her passion for active and healthy living led her to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) where she was certified in Active Release Techniques (ART) as well as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. As part of her education at CMCC, she had clinic internships at the Anishnawbe Native Health Center in Toronto and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College Clinic.
